EMPLOYEE OF THE WEEK
Every Thursday, production and functional leaders nominate and vote on a day shift and afternoon shift colleague who has gone above and beyond in their role. These two colleagues receive a Visitor Parking allocation in front of the main entrance. Those who receive two or more awards also receive personalised uniforms with their name embroidered so everyone knows of their exceptional commitment to the business
In accordance with our Core Values of People Matter and Create a Better Future we recognise the commitment that our employees make to their professional development by undertaking external study in their own time and this is something that, as a business, we want to support and encourage. Our employees can access our Study Assistance policy which provides the guidelines for seeking study assistance from B&J and applies to employees who wish to undertake tertiary study of their own volition.

Our best advertisements come from the people who already work at B&J. If our current colleagues are happy, they will tell their friends. We encourage our colleagues to bring people who are just as good as them to our company. Any existing B&J colleague who refers someone for a permanent role who is then selected for employment and remains in the business for longer than 6 months will receive a $200.00 voucher as a thank you for assisting B&J to find the right people for the future
